The mechanical parts are repaired or replaced, and the case is carefully refinished to bring back the appearance of new. The result of this process is that our craftsmen deliver instruments that are like new. However, a restored piano is clearly different than a new instrument. Many of the older instruments have distinctive styles that may no longer be available in today's new pianos. Plus, an instrument that has endured one hundred years has a history all of its own.
